Founded in 1992 Taunotent cc was originally started to manufacture and supply tonneau covers to the motor trade industry, this soon extended to include the manufacture of several other PVC, nylon and canvas covers such as tarpaulins, boat covers, roll-up awnings, trailer covers, bakkie canopies and any other custom made covers.

As an official supplier to several motor vehicle manufacturers Taunotents products are manufactured using only the highest quality materials and machinery and undergo strict monitoring throughout manufacture. A comprehensive back-up facility is available for all products manufactured at our premises. As a company our policies and practices are all inline with current employment equity provisions and we are registered with all appropriate regulatory bodies including obtaining a Level 4 BEE contribution index.

Based in Edenvale on the East Rand of Johannesburg, Taunotent employs mainly female staff whom manufacture all of our products on-site. A friendly work environment is established at all times, which has been key to the companies success over the years which it has operated.
